With Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field
2-5 years experience in compensation and benefits coordination or a similar HR role
Comprehensive knowledge and strong understanding of different benefits plans & programs and timekeeping
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
With good Interpersonal,Problem-solving and decision making skills
Familiarity with HRIS systems and benefits administration software for accurate record-keeping and reporting
Detail-oriented mindset, able to manage benefits and timekeeping data accurately and efficiently
Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Outstanding knowledge of MS Office and Google Workspace, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Social Media Management and other software
Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid challenges
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees
Must be located not more than an hour away from the office
Willing to work on a graveyard shift
Can work onsite as needed
Duties & Responsibilities
Manages and administers company’s benefit programs, ensuring records are constantly maintained and updated
Prepare and develop communication materials educating virtual assistants on benefit programs and timekeeping- related topics such as IR, SIL, overtime especially during HR Orientation
Handles changes or updates to benefits due to life events like marriage, childbirth, etc.
Guides virtual assistants through enrollment, and ensure all forms and documents are completed on time
Addresses issues by coordinating with benefits administrator and insurance providers
Conducts meetings to discuss various benefit programs.
Gathers, tracks and analyzes data for various benefit programs to measure success of the benefit programs and ROI
Prepare monthly reports on benefits and timekeeping
Serves as liaison between the organization and insurance providers monitoring and reporting on insurance claim issues
Reports to HR Manager on benefits programs and coordinate with Health and Wellness Coordinator create wellness programs
Maintain and ensures biweekly payroll deductions for the benefits and timekeeping
Submits and ensures an updated and accurate Timekeeping Report
Process timekeeping such as SIL, OT and IR
Processing enrollments quickly and accurately
Maintain accurate benefit records/ tracker, enrollment data and relevant documentation
Helps in creating VA Profiles
Assist Travel inquiries of VA's incase Travel Coordinator is not yet online/available
Attends the Corporate events, team buildings and provides assistance if necessary
Attends and provides assistance onsite during the new hire HR orientation
Performs other tasks as assigned by the department manager
Technical Requirements
Laptop with a good battery and working webcam.
Laptop Specification of core i5 & with at least 8gb ram
Primary Internet 15mbps (willing to upgrade at own expense)
Back-up Internet is a must,preferably prepaid wifi
